At Benny and the Pets our experienced Veterinarians can perform a whole variety of reparative and routine Surgical Procedures, such as desexing, soft tissue, exploratory surgery, tumour and lump removals, orthopaedic and dental procedures.

Preparing your pet for surgery: It is very important that patients fast before any anaesthetic or sedation. The night before the surgery your pet may enjoy a normal dinner. But from 8pm any leftovers should be removed. Water may be left down over night, but needs to be taken away when you wake or around 7 am.

It is a good idea to lock cats away the night before surgery and keep them inside until taken to your vet, so that they do not disappear for their appointment time.

A full range of diagnostic equipment is available at Benny and the Pets including pathology, ultrasound, digital X-ray and full physical examination.
